Islamic Law and the wamen rights

I honestly don’t know what to say!! How to describe the situation? I’m stunned and don’t know what to say. I will quote for you what I read on the BBC, CNN and international news channels on their websites and I will leave you to figure out why am astonished.

On BBC world website 17th dec.“The Saudi king has pardoned a female rape victim sentenced to jail and 200 lashes for being alone with a man raped in the same attack, reports say.”

Cnn website in a same day “Seven men, convicted of abducted the pair and raping her, were sentenced to two to nine years in prison.” Also “Under Saudi law, women are subject to numerous restrictions, including a strict dress code, a prohibition against driving and a requirement that they get a man's permission to travel or have surgery.”

Is this real Islamic law? Does this what we want from Islam? Do the women in Islam have their rights? Whose entitle to draw woman rights? Who is representing the real Islam!!??

A Teddy Bear

Since when we are not allowed to give a name for a teddy bear. Is it naming a toy with human name forbidden!? Are we living in an ancient era. Whats wrong with Muslims!? It's really not fair that British teacher got jailed because of naming a teddy bear Mohammad and not only this but also to be charged for 14 lashes. Does this actually represent the real Islam? Isn't this offended Islam and Muslims? I used to name my two teddy bears Mohammad & Maryam when I was a small kid. Am I was a criminal on that time!? Is this ridicules things will give good image of Muslims and Islam?.

We need Muslims and non Muslims to stand together against fanatic people in all over the world and stop them from acting ridiculously.

I'm pretty sure Mrs Gibbons had from this incident a good image of Islam!.

To the Sudanese Government: Release Mrs Gillian Gibbons, 54, of Liverpool, Who was jailed for 15 days in Sudan on Thursday for the charge of insulting religion by letting her pupils name a teddy bear Muhammad.
